About the size of a go-pro. 6 hour rechargeable battery.
It can be mounted to the gun or set on a tripod. Built in software or works with a phone app.
Looks like an interesting little unit- except the price.
$600
Almost ordered one, BUT, you have to have a newer phone...app not available for my Samsung S8.
Shot over a buddies that got one the day they released. Scheels sold out in a few hours. Got one ordered.
Why you are seeing LabRadars and MagnetoSpeeds being sold at half of retail all over the place.

Better than Labradar other than just the size difference?

Better. No faults, less battery use, smaller, more versatile. For me, a better interface as well. I sold a LabRadar after using one for about 6 months.
They look awesome. Will be ordering one before too long.
Mine will be here Thursday
That’s now at the top of my Christmas list!

If I could find one I’d probably buy it. Out of stock everywhere.

It's much smaller than my current chrono, which according to the rules of physics means I'm much less likely to blast a hole in it, right? RIGHT?
I'll wait for one of you locals to buy one, but I'm tempted. Glad they're out of stock.

It's also placed next to the muzzle on the shooting line*, so you'd really have to eff up to blast a hole in it.

*This is a huge advantage of the LabRadar and now the Garmin (or the MagnetoSpeed for that matter) - you can walk up to a line, setup and start chronographing without a case fire to walk downrange.

My brother just got his, I'm hoping to get to play with it and compare the results to my labradar. I'm expecting it to be similar and like the compact size but I haven't really seen an easy way to transfer the collected data to a PC for post processing. The FX True Ballistic chronograph seems to lack this as well.

The app has a "send logs" feature that will export the data.
