I need some parts to build a couple of AR's up. I'm in no great hurry but I'd like to complete an AR dedicated for my sons girlfriend to use as "her own" (it'll still be mine, but dedicated for her use at the range). Unless I see some amazing Black Friday deals on complete uppers, LPK's and stock assemblies, it'll likely get built late spring.

In the mean time though I've bought her a nice range bag and electronic hearing protection of her own.

Picked up an "entry level" complete upper "kit" to complete the AR for my (hopefully) soon-to-be daughter-in-law to use.

Will still need a few more things, but I've got until late spring before we will all go to my range (outdoor; Frontier Sportsman's Club) so I can spread the cost out over time.

Haven't pulled he trigger on getting into 3D printing - yet...but I'm getting close. I'd really love to see your guys set ups and get some "tribal knowledge" from both of you. Leaning towards filament for first printer, but also want to get a resin at some point too (finer details are desired). For both the filament and resin I'm looking at a large print area for some of the things I have in mind to make.

Different colors.

I can't recommend Prusa enough. My buddy that was into 3D printing YEARS before I got into it (2021) was amazed at what I was printing right out of the box (well, after assembly - I got the kit) with no fiddling with the Prusa.

...and I just pulled the trigger on the MK4. I needed some gummy bears.
