The trading post on here is a great place to post it for sale.

Follow link and instructions to post in the Trading Post here at COAR15.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
Sell direct here and skip the middle man, selling via consignmet or other online estore is only going to get a large commision taken out of whatever you get for it.

Of course, don't we all enjoy walks on the beach, in the woods, under a full moon, with a gentle rain falling..

Y'all are awesome. I appreciate it!
If you are doing it 'face to face' you will still need to get a background check done which will require getting a dealer involved. It would be good idea to check with the dealers you might be doing the transfer with to see what their procedures and fees would be.
Many firearms over 50 years old qualify as "Curio & Relic," and you can Google the rules and exemptions pertinent to those.
There are some gun shops that buy guns... at a price they'll make a decent profit on, or they might offer to put it on consignment and you get paid when they sell... pawn shops are another option.

Since you are in Erie, might I suggest discussing your options for consignment with Ross at Gunsport in Boulder. They charge 20%, but do very well in getting your guns sold for an excellent price. No fuss on your part- drop them off, pick-up a check later.
