New Hampshire has it's own Firearms Freedom Act pending in the legislature. It goes way further than those passed by Montana and Tennessee. It specifically includes a few things such as "sound suppressors". Also, the last two paragraphs read:

159-E:4 Penalty.

I. Any public servant of the State of New Hampshire as defined in RSA 640:2 that enforces or attempts to enforce a act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the government of the United States upon a personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in New Hampshire and that remains within the State of New Hampshire shall be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
II. Any official, agent, or employee of the government of the United States, or employee of a corporation providing services to the government of the United States that enforces or attempts to enforce a act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the government of the United States upon a personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in New Hampshire and that remains within the State of New Hampshire shall be guilty of a class B felony.http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/legislation/2010/HB1285.html

I think these types of laws are a really good sign of states having become fed up with federal intrusion into areas of states rights and abuse of powers in general.

that looks pretty awesome! I wish they could also do that at the federal level. If anyone tries to enact a law restricting private ownership of firearms, firearm accessories or ammunition, they will be sentenced to death.

Excellent. Most excellent.......

This should be the model for not just Colorado, but for every state in the union.

New Hampshire is the state chosen for the Libertarian's Freedom Project. I wonder how much they contributed to this.

I thought about moving there as part of the Freedom Project but the 100+ inches of snow they get out there just sucks too much to contemplate.

GreenScout, check out Free State Wyoming if your interested in free state project.

Edit(guess I should reply about topic first)
I think states should adopt this type of legislation as they repeal previous gun laws.

Yeah, you're right. It was free state project. I understood that Wyoming was a contender, along with Idaho and the Dakotas, but lost out due to economy and water (or lack thereof).

I'll google it and check it out. Thanks!

freestatewyoming.org, great people to talk to, even if not interested in moving and participating. All I have met have a healthy intrest in Freedom and firearms.

RMGO (and the national group I work for, NAGR) has been helping New Hampshire Firearms Coalition for some time now.

And they're the group that came up with this penalty idea.

Great stuff, in my opinion.

Every state should have this stuff. WAY too much Federal intrusion, and they seem to have forgotten that anything not specifically designated to the feds is reserved for the states.

If you have any interest in Free State Wyoming, be sure to check out the book Molon Labe by Boston T. Party. He does a great job of showing how a truly free state could evolve from modern day Wyoming.

oh interesting! I didn't know that Wyoming had their own division of the FSP! Great! I never wanted to move back out East...
