Boulder Renewal

Not exactly a 2A county. Have to give credit, simple and fast. I don't expire until April but wanted to renew ASAP (6 month before) to stay ahead of whatever dumbass gun laws are coming.

Renewal is now all online. Mostly a standard 4473. Hardest part was taking photo of current permit and drivers license to upload. Submitted on Tuesday with my $70 and got approval today, four days later.

Somehow I doubt it will be so easy 5 years from now.

Mine is up for a June renewal, so I will submit when the window opens. Is it 90 or 180 days?

Did they give you a new information sheet with all the now supposedly "off-limits" places?

Based on the signage at the Longmont Fairgrounds, the Boulder County Commissioners have a huge sexual fetish for marginalizing armed citizens.

180 days. They're just mailing me a new card. I was worried I'd have to take another class after 10 years but nope.

Sheriff Joe was pretty good overall. New sheriff is total unknown. Expecting very woke.

Just looked on the website and it says 120 days, which for me opens in early Feb. Hopefully a painless process.

Took 9 days for me from submission to approval- I can't complain.
