So.... took my brand new unfired LWRC M6 piston AR to a south Lakewood gunshop for some cerakote. Didn't notice it until I was long home, way on other side of town. The ambi bolt stops do not work, do not hold the bolt back, and are locked into place when the upper and lower are assembled, but move when unassembled. What did the gunsmith do or not do when he reassembled the gun after the cerakote job? Thank you!

Does an empty mag hold the bolt open?

Easy, Failed to function check it.

First thing to do after reassembling any gun, beside lube it.

Gonna guess the lever arm that actuates the bolt catch itself was reinstalled upside down
