Good morning, wondering if you all had any recommendations on getting a barrel threaded around Denver?

I would like to get my sons .22 threaded 1/2x28

Thanks!

Curious - is the barrel normally removed from a rifle in order to cut threads on it?

Probably too far for you but i can do it. I am in Kiowa.
To Rondogs question, 98 % of time it does not need to be removed.

I realized that savage makes a threaded rascal with a scope base. By the time I get it threaded and a scope base I pretty much have the cost of that gun so I think that?s the route I?m going to go.

I am thinking about getting a tikka 6.5 and getting it threaded, so this is still quite applicable. Thank you all for the responses so far.

From the dead. Don't see a reason to start a new thread. Any idea what Black Customs would charge to thread a ban era Bushmaster my grandpa gave me?

I know this is an ancient post. But since you never got a reply here... Some barrels are harder to get off than others. My cheap Savage .17 HMR was threaded with the receiver still attached.
