View Full Version : Mad Magazines Al Jaffee, RIP at 102!
For everyone else that read Mad Magazine growing up, RIP to Al Jaffee, notable for the rear cover "Fold in" page for so many years and much more.
Mad Mag and Al Jaffee were a big part of my childhood. RIP
Very sad news. I was a huge MM fan growing up.

That sucks.
I grew up on Mad Magazine, Sgt Rock and Fat Freddies Cat.

Sad, yes, but he died 11 months ago.

I had not heard of it! Guess the MSM was too wrapped up with the fricking Royal Family drama to be current! Thanks for the correction, at least I got the year right!

I still have one of his hard-cover Mad Magazines somewhere. (Yes, there were rare hard copies). I think it was from 1967. One of the “articles”/ “skits”/ entries (?) was making fun of space flight, basically saying it will never be possible. I’ll take pics and post if I can find it. I always loved Spy vs. Spy too..
