What part of Alaska? I grew up in Anchorage (left to go to college in '88)
still have some family up there...

Chugiak/Eagle River. I graduated from CHS in 01' and went to UAA. Me too, my family is still up there freezing their a** off during the winters. Winters here are definitely mild. 4 seasons are nice too.
