King Charles III Painting

Just wondering what your opinions are on the new Official Royal King Charles III painting just released. A far cry from the regal portraits from the last 400 years of European Monarchy.
I like it, but have no idea, or really care, what the butterfly over his right shoulder signifies.

I'm guessing that if you looked at the rest of the paintings that this artist has done that they would all be similar. It won't be the only painting done of the king through the rest of his life.

I guess that is all that matters.
He did look surprised when the cover was taken off for the first time - 4 years in the making.

I did not really see the similarity.
