They held their nominating convention last weekend, and it was a clown show.
They invited Trump, a registered Republican, to speak. He was heckled and booed throughout his speech. It then took them seven tries to nominate a candidate finally coming up with a far left wing kook. Mostly because the guy that was leading was too stoned from consuming an edible to put forth a coherent speech.
I like some libertarian ideas, some are way out of touch with reality. Many of their ideas, if put forth properly, would appeal to a large part of the middle of the political spectrum- those that actually decide elections.
But in order to become a viable third-party, they need to cut the nonsense and become a much more serious, cohesive group.
