Thanks for the link. I heard snippets of this over the weekend but no real information. Ironically, this article doesn't shed much more light. The article is more about the gun than the shooter. True to the narrative, it was the gun that did it. Nowhere does the author of the article inform the audience that everything mentioned is already heavily controlled by law.

I would however bet the shooter was already known as a gang associate to local LEO/gang unit personnel and they already know where the gun/switch came from. It's possible this yoot had been in the grooming process for such an event for a couple years.

I did a bit of research and most of the victims were youths, teens or young men. The mayhem occurred in less affluent neighborhoods, often in the wee hours of the morning.

I know I am preaching to the choir here but I think many, many more laws are needed to keep these vile guns from corrupting our innocent children.

Guns are keeping our blameless youths from making sensible, moral decisions about their lives.

I am certain that if there were no guns radiating evil, these boys would all choose to pursue the noble paths of service and productivity they were destined for.

Never mind the lack of positive father figures or other role models. Or the constant reinforcement of negative stereotypes from almost every source- pop culture, politicians, clergy or "community organizers".

The problem is, and always has been, guns.

I'm familiar with 3 such arrests, including a crazy guy who broke into Children's Hospital after hours and assaulted a security guard.

I do not even think they were charged with a machinegun or hi cap mag... none were convicted of either charge.

But put the wrong accessory on an AR pistol and they'll definitely charge YOU.
