In the eyes of our Triple-D overlords, who is more of a concern:

Your same, moral and responsible teens who are knowledgeable about shooting, have access to firearms, don't commit violent crimes, and appreciate the benefits of an armed citizenry.

or....

These upstanding members of the community-

Well, law abiding gun owners with carry permits who purchase via an FFL are really the only ones they can crack down on... because urban teen criminals with stolen guns actually will shoot at cops... that's a lot more difficult to address.

The parents would be even madder if they were arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child neglect, as should be done automatically in all such cases involving minors stealing cars and shooting at people when they should instead be home under parental supervision.

Say, has anyone ever gotten out of a simple parking ticket because of being a "teen" ?

Sorta. Parents are in a tight spot. Some options are gone, replaced with the possibility of them running away or even making false claims against parents. If you recently experienced the tone in present day schools, things are wild.

Teenagers?

No, stolen vehicles. If we stopped stolen vehicles being used to commit crimes, we wouldn't have these issues.
