Ahead of a planned speech, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign said in a Pennsylvania court filing Friday that he is endorsing Donald Trump for president.
Does this help Trump's campaign?
I don't think so.
Kennedy has always been and still is a big government leftist. People that were drawn to his platform are likely Democrat voters and will now vote for Harris.
He said government forced vaccine mandates are bad, so the right instantly adored him, without looking at the rest of his stances on issues.
As recently as five years ago, he had a show on satellite radio. I listen to it occasionally and he is very much on the left. He is anti-carbon, anti internal combustion engine and very much pro union.
To his credit, he doesn't seem to be anti-gun.
I think Trump giving him any power would be a mistake, but Trump is not known for doing things correctly.

Expand free childcare to millions of families with programs like that pioneered by the state of New Mexico.

That is exactly the problem we have now. We don't need more.
