An infamous New York City artist who paint with human blood was arrested after police responded to reports of an over overdose at his home, and a cache of unregistered guns inside his Staten Island home, police said.

Officers found a .380-caliber Smith & Wesson EZ hangun, loaded with one round in the chamber and seven rounds in the magazine, on his bedpost Sunday morning, prompting a search warrant to be executed Monday, police said. During their search, police confiscated additional firearms and ammunition, including a shotgun, a 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun with six shells in the magazine... A .22-caliber KelTec pistol with a large-capacity magazine... Police also recovered a loaded .32-caliber Seecamp pistol, which was found in a vest in the bedroom.

Wow. What an impressive arsenal this character had. The sword is extra scary too!

Why does anyone need that much ammo? Ridiculous. America has a gun problem.

The way they lay stuff out like that to make it look big and menacing is legitimately one of my “triggers”. Am I the only one who thinks it’s retarded? This is NOT something any sane American should ever be concerned by.

Now the “paint with human blood” part, well that’s a bit concerning…

Less than 250 rounds a gun. Seriously?

In NY it's a felony with a year mandatory minimum (up to 7) simply for unapproved ownership... even if it's locked in a safe.

That gravity/spring/switchblade knife is scary too, but that flea-market dragon dagger just creeps me out!

Crazy to think, NVM, Know. 40+ yrs ago i could walk in to any gun store in NYS, except NYC. Fill out the paperwork and walk out with a FNC, H&K91 or 93, AK etc and not one person inside or out would even blink at what i was in possession of. Edelman's was one of many on the same rd where i worked, lunch time was spent deciding which rifle i'd buy next paycheck.

Without a permit i could still handle handguns to see if i was interested in buying it, after paperwork was approved. No one cared, buying 22, 357, 38 or 44 mag did not require a "permit". Or even a sorry you need to show us a pistol permit to buy those calibers. NADA, ZILCH, no one cared. Working in the auto repair industry, i came across many a pistol in someone's console, no cops were called, swat teams enroute.

Now they arrest the citizens over Illegal ammo, unlicensed guns , what next, speech like they're doing in eurpoe?

I would be embarrassed to have that photo of my firearms and ammo posted publicly…

It's funny how everyone of these pictures always has an odd ball blade, sword, or gas station knife of some sort.

"Guys, we've got all the guns for the picture but we need more "scary" ...find the weirdest blade in the house to throw into our picture ".

Honestly, that's a respectable collection for a resident of NYC. Decent quality, a sufficient amount of ammo to hold a position for a day or so if SHTF.

Most gun owners in NYC have a 50+ year old gun and a single box of ammo. Actually, the two most common home defense weapons there are the aluminum baseball bat and the surplus store dull Chinese machete.

I thought only criminals could be armed in NYC, law abiding citizens do not have the right to defend themselves from such. Crazy how backwards this country is becoming.
