View Full Version : Tim Walz
Walz was accused of being a pedophile.
Credible allegations, apparently with evidence, of his inappropriate relations with 2 minor males in 1995 and 2005.
Sources are saying the Harris campaign is doing damage control behind the scenes and considering dropping him.
Developing story, not sharing links.

So there are links? What about a source we can go to see for ourselves. Why not post links?

One source... (You can assess it's validity for yourself)

Hold on, this is a mid/bottom barrel east Indian newspaper that's publishing an article based simply on an anonymous twitter comment with no specifics and vague innuendo?
Yours and my definition of credible is pretty distant. If we started publishing articles based on twitter comments, we'd have thousands of scandals per each candidate, including Trump "probably" French kissed Kim Jong Un before they 69ed.
This isn't a breaking story, its tabloid/clickbait / ad generating.
I'll ETA:
I hate Tim Walz. Just because I hate him doesn't mean I instantly believe all negative press.
There are multiple sources, starting with an X account, the hindustan times is just a cut & paste.
Nothing has been conclusively proven as of yet, but I've seen one victim's testimony as well as some damning circumstantial evidence. He was not arrested, but the school board unanimously asked him to resign, and apparently the rumors were well known in his hometown.
The thing is... there is no longer a statute of limitations on sex crimes against children, so if either victim agrees to present credible testimony before a court of law, that's an automatic arrest. We'll see what happens with this.
Trump lost a civil suit on far less evidence than what I have seen so far.

A lot of "news" today is simply screen captures of twitter posts, especially on sports sites.
As for Walz, even if it were true, which I doubt, it will have zero effect on this election.
A sympathetic press will ignore it for the next three weeks.

That is very possible, but "qualified immunity" does not apply to felonies committed before taking office, and if a victim files a criminal complaint he would be arrested and jailed while VPOTUS, then replaced with that administration's Secretary of State.
We'll see what happens.
I considered the possibility of an elaborate PSYOP to discredit him, but from what I've seen so far there is a strong possibility the allegations are credible. We should know more by the end of the week.

I thought President Nixon picked the replacement Vice President when Spiro Agnew left as VP when he selected Ford to take the office.
Is it automatic for VP to Secretary of State or is it the succession if first the President is gone, and then the VP is gone.
I am not remembering my Civics classes in Jr. High too well.
To recognize a persons own bias, replace the disliked character with a favored one, all things the same, and see if you'd still give it the same treatment.
If this article was about Donald Trump sleeping with minors, based on vague twitter innuendo from a comment, with hearsay'ed hearsay from a supposed witnesses uncle's brother who in a twitter comment said they saw'd it all....
Would you be saying to yourself, "Yup, Trump probably diddles kids".
I wouldn't.
Take it another way, there are legitimate cases and named people with circumstantial evidence that accuse Trump of rape.
Do you think those are credible or non credible? They are much more fleshed out than hindustan twitter comments, and actually have circumstantial testimony entered. There are cities that are very unwelcoming to Trump as well, which is far better documented. Hell there are restaurants that won't serve him or the VP candidate.
TLDR:
What, exactly, makes something "fairly credible"? Would you agree that the standard should be the same vs those you really like, and those you really dislike?
Did you see his Elmer fudd impersonation?

You could be correct in that regard.

With all due respect, I've seen thousands of affidavits pertaining to sex crime investigations, and while it's certainly possible this "October surprise" could be a political PSYOP, but I have familiarity with those as well and this feels legit.
Also, I'm an apolitical Centrist whose primary concerns are child protection and border security, I am not a Trump supporter and am unbiased in that regard.
What I saw was vastly different from the wild allegation of a clearly unbalanced woman who had zero supporting evidence, not even circumstantial evidence, that Trump raped her in a shop dressing room... then laughed about his small penis and premature ejaculation, but could not recall the date, or even the year, this alleged assault occurred... then proceeded to receive tangible benefits (wealth and status) for dropping an obviously false accusation (which was never reported until 20+ years after the fact as Trump was running for political office).
But like I said, we need to wait and see if this matter actually goes before a court.

Agnew was a crook and got caught. Nixon couldn't another crook stealing his thunder.
It's President, then VP takes office, then Speaker of the House. If I am understanding the question correctly.
Well, the story hasn't gained much traction as of yet, which is surprising if legit, because if either alleged victim were hesitant to come forward and file a criminal complaint, this close to the election donors would offer 7 figures to each of them... this has not occurred.
What did occur was Mother Jones and Yahoo News both decried it was a "disgusting conspiracy theory" and the account which originally posted it on X has been suspended with all tweets hidden.
Gonna say at this point it looks as if it were fabricated.

The line of succession only applies if the President dies or is removed from office. Or the top two or three etc.
If the Vice President can no longer serve, the President nominates a new VP that has to be approved by Congress.

So the account with the "proof" of the pedo charges shut itself down, and there was really no supporting evidence besides that account giving the allegations.

Are we still talking about Tim Walz, or did the conversation move on to Jared Polis? It's so hard to tell whose bein spoken about with the makeup of the politicians and appointees around the country these days.

Turned out to be a PSYOP and has been debunked.

Every lie is based in truth........
Every lie is based in truth........
Only the best lies are based on truth, because "I know X and Y are true, so Z must be true as well!" That is what makes propaganda effective, 2/3 of what they say is true, then they add the zinger.
But then there's the horse semen story... which we have zero evidence of... he wasn't even a contestant on Fear Factor, lol.
There are significant psyops that are not based in truth. Deepfaking influencers etc to carry credibility, millions of followers from nation state bots, out of the blue fabrications, etc.
At a certain point, we have to accept that no, it isn't based on truth, certain countries really have a hard on for a Trump victory... and it' not China or Iran.

The Black Insurrectionist account is linked directly to Jason G. Palmer, who has his own questionable backstory, starting with the fact that he isn’t Black, according to an Associated Press review of public records, open source data and interviews with a half-dozen people who interacted closely with Palmer over the past two decades. The records and personal accounts offer a portrait of an individual who has repeatedly been accused of defrauding business partners and lenders, has struggled with drug addiction and whose home was raided by the FBI over a decade ago. He also owes more than $6.7 million in back taxes to the state of New York.

I hear you, trump is a narcissist. I don’t LIKE him either. How could a Kamala/walz win possibly be good for gun owners?
Strawman.
I don't have a crystal ball, but imagine if Roosevelent was a Nazi sympathizer and had tons of German investments. Even if he was staunchy pro-gun, that position would've been irrelevent within a couple decades in 1945 as the world turned grey.
Unfortunately, both sides nominated the equivalent of full-blown idiocracy in this election, and turnout results reflect it. Trump is staunchy pro-russian, has a ton of Russian investments, and himself fell victim to a Russian psy-op campaign before Russia invaded Ukraine.
Fortunately, we're not a swing state so it doesn't matter one lick who you vote for for president.
I did a write in. Fuck them both.
