Gun & Knife show 1/23 & 1/24 - CLOSED

R.K. Gun & Knife show this weekend at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds (East of E-470 + Quincy). Anyone familiar with the R.K. show?

No, that is a different show. I went to the first one they had towards the end of last summer. Was a pretty decent show. Wasnt as crowded as Tanner or the Crossroads of the West shows...

It's not a bad show, and it is from the same folks (Gunshows of the Rockies, RK) who do the show at the Crowne Point Holiday Inn. Better parking and less congestion in the area. If you go to http://www.gunshows-usa.com/colorado.htm you can click on the link and get a $1.00 off coupon for admission. The last show at the Crowne Point military got in free with an ID, as well.

MGTS will be there as always and we just got in the new SIG 556 SBR's as well as a lot of other fun stuff.

Also SIG has a $300 rebate on any 556 rifle.

Pretty weak show, IMO...

Very few booths. Mostly candy and not-for-sale vintage firearms. Machine Gun Tours was there, as was the t-shirt guy. Not many others...hope Tanner has a bigger turnout.

You are too kind. It was terrible. Very small to begin with, then in an effort to make it look bigger they gave every vendor extra tables and told them to spread out.

I drove across town, spent my Saturday morning going to this poorly done show, and then get charged $16 for my dad and I. I will boycott all their shows and make sure that all my shooting buddies know to avoid their shows in the future. An honorable business would refund the money, reduce the entrance fees or warn us prior to paying that the show was very small. I feel was ripped off.....

Well I didnt pay to get in. I used my debit card, and after 15 minutes of them trying to scan it, they couldnt get a signal, gave up and just gave me a ticket :D

i got in on my retired military card and my son was young enough to be free, and I still felt overcharged. One of the lamest shows I've been to in a long time.

I live close, got in free with my military ID, and I agree it was a near absolute waste of time. If one of the vendors hadn't had the priming tool I needed, it would have been a total waste.

Have any of you guys knowest that at alot of guns shows they be selling alot of junk? I thought that gun shows suppose to have good prices on guns but they sell them at regular prices, and there ammo are the same too. You dont get no deals at gun shows, What up with the junk, books, old thing, all kinds of junk, what up with that?

Despite my reputation of being niggardly with my gold, I stowed a few coins in my purse; lest I be presented an opportunity to covet a rare item at a favorable price. Shortly after our arrival, we felt betrayed by the local yeller, whom had foretold of this weaponry festival that was rumored to attract both merchants and interested parties from far corners of the land. To our astonished disappointment, we felt that we had instead stumbled into a bazaar that was fit only for common fools and beggars, put on by filthy vagrants and layabouts. I too, knowest of what thy speak.
