Colorado Parks and Wildlife is looking for volunteers to help with the kids fishing tank exhibit at the International Sportsmen's EXPO in Denver for one or more shifts from Jan 9-12. It involves assisting kids and their parents with baiting and casting to catch trout in the pool, then extracting and releasing the fish.

It comes with an entrance pass into the Expo where there's a great variety of outdoor sports related exhibits.

This can be an opening to become a CPW volunteer in an area of your skills.

I'll be working the kids fishing tank on Friday. I've done it for several years, and it's great fun to watch kids catch their first fish. PM me for more information and a CPW contact to get you scheduled.

There is a guy here- goes by Hatiuda or similar.
I’ve heard he’s a pretty good fish catcherer guy.

But he'd go to cast and hit the far wall of the building!

Does that mean you are not volunteering?

I can not, since I will be on a fishing trip in the Florida Keys.
I have seen the kids fishing in the past, and they do seem to be having a lot of fun.
