Received an email from Colorado State Shooting Association yesterday regarding a lawsuit against Prop KK. I am not really familiar with the CSSA but somehow ended up on their mailing list. I'm thinking of donating some money to the cause. Is this a group who is worthy of supporting? Does this lawsuit have chance in hell?

CSSA Sues to Stop Prop KK?s Gun Tax
Today, March 31, 2025, the Colorado State Shooting Association (CSSA), alongside the National Rifle Association (NRA), Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), Magnum Shooting Center, and El Paso County resident Zachary Langston, filed a lawsuit in Denver County District Court to strike down Proposition KK?the 6.5% excise tax on firearms and ammunition set to hit tomorrow, April 1. We are represented by Cooper and Kirk, LLP?one of the best pro-2A law firms in the country. This is a historic fight to protect our Second Amendment rights, echoing the defiant and patriotic spirit of the Boston Tea Party.

Don't worry, they will eventually appeal to the equally far-left Colorado Supreme Court, and further harm the 2A with that prescedence.

The CSSA is the Colorado arm of the NRA when it comes to firearms lawsuits. The SAF has also filed a lawsuit against KK.
