Me and my tracers and flamethrower…who’d a thunk it.

Halfway between Woodland Park and Deckers on highway 67.

Used to go by The South Site.
We did meet and shoot years ago.
I go there from time to time to shoot and camp out.

Let me guess- Cleetus, Darquan, or Pablo having a great time with tannerite, tracers, steel core or steel jacket ammo. Great representatives of the shooting community's stewardship of the land.

It could have just been a car idling on the side of the road. Tall grass and catalytic converters don't mix. Paper ignites at 451 Fahrenheit.

5% humidity right now, so doesn't take much to get the grass burning.
The news is saying the fire started on the range.

...and Turkey Tracks being shut down in 5, 4, 3...

Kinda like Rampart. People drop like flies on the rivers during rafting season, and does the Forrest Service close down the rivers? Noooooooo.

One accidental death at Rampart in over a decade and it's closed.

The fire is more or less out now. I have an employee who lives a couple of miles away. She said there were just a few trucks there this morning.

Maybe an inclusive liberal tried to ambush a passing Tesla, and the Molotov missed.
