Have an AR that I had a smith do the barrel/upper work for me some years ago and I assembled the rest. Has a BCM 16 inch pencil battery with mid length has system. BCM upper and BCM bolt/carrier set.

Anyway, it has never shot any better than 5 MOA using mostly privy partisan m193 and a number of other random boxes of .223 and 5.56 trying to find something it likes. I have AK74s that I have built that shoot surplus 7n6 better than this rifle.

Everyone online seems to think that it should be capable of shooting at least 2 MOA or better and that there is something wrong with how the barrel and upper were assembled.

I don't have time to mess with it myself but would like to know who I should take it to to have it looked over and rebarrelled.

Rob @ Bower's Tactical.

There's a possibility that it's just a less accurate BCM barrel, and there's nothing mechanical that will make it shoot 1.5-2 MOA consistently. I hope I am wrong.

Good luck [emoji620]

I know a guy…
Let’s take a look at something-
When you say it shoots no better than 5 MOA what distance are we talking? Is it consistent grouping that is just loose or is it erratic in patterns?
Carbon or Stainless?
What twist rate & gas system length?
Chrome lined, melonited or plain?
How is your point of aim vs point of impact?
Irons or optic?
If optic what is it and what mount?
There are a lot of variables in play.
