Expired a few months back and I just noticed when switching wallets today[panic]. Either the uber-reliable USPS lost the reminder or I had a blonde moment.

You can meet the requirements by doing any competition, assuming the group/instructor running it is "approved."

Is there a list of approved instructors who offer the "refresher" course for CCW renewal? Is the new state law on refresher course also applicable to those holding NRA Instructor certificates?

I did the refresher course at Bristlecone for my renewal which I just applied for online. Was stupid easy. Basically you shoot something like 30 rounds at an ipsc style target and a certain percentage have to hit within what would be the C zone. Then the classroom consists of a multiple choice test which is taken as you run through a number of slides which includes all of the current/new gun laws that have gone in to effect over the last 10 years. No one in the class failed.

Passport & DL are visible several times a year, this lived with a bunch of insurance cards in the wallet. Out of sight, out of mind.
