Silencer Shop Form 1

Talking with a friend that just certified his form 1 sbr through Silencer Shop, now he?s waiting on atf. The weird thing he said is that it defaulted to the state ag rather than his county sheriff for the cleo info, couldn?t change it. He?s now concerned Weiser will disallow-is that likely?

All of the Silencer Shop approvals I have received have been approved by the AG.
The forms for suppressors have been same day approval by AG's office.
I would not worry about the AG approval, since legally it is just acknowledgement that they have received a copy and not truly approval.

Cool, I’ll pass that on, thanks. He’s in Jefferson County, wasn’t sure the current sheriff’s opinion. I’m in Arapahoe, no issues here.

Its just a notification, not approval. I've had a couple in which they sent the notification to Col. Packer, the CSP chief. Others have sent it to the AG's office. I always put my sheriff as the CLEO for notification on my form 1's.

I did a few paper form 4's a few years ago. My lazy ass copied what silencer shop uses for the CLEO notifications. I mailed the forms to Phil "The Wank Stain" Weiser, using the address that silencer shop uses. A few weeks later I get a big envelop in the mail with the forms back and this:

I have seen that asshats name on the Certification docs. As recently as last night. That clown seems to have very little say and mine go right through. I do have an ?Hispanic? last name so he HAS to say yes!!!!
I hope he does see them flying through. He is helpless and I enjoy that.
SS process has been nothing but great.
Just keep your info up to date, like pictures every year and passwords on the ATF E forms sight. Other than that they keep you updated via email. To easy.
