If only there was some object that could help a lady being stalked feel more secure...

I think what you are referring to would be too scary and offensive to do, maybe a whistle instead.

Oh, a whistle is absolutely the tool for the job, no question.
Relevant quote from the article:
“He is wearing an ankle monitor, so he is not allowed to come within a certain distance of where I am, and, of course, my work and whatnot,” she said of the man.
“But even then, you get a heads up of a couple of minutes, the police can’t get there in time. If this person wanted to be violent, they could do so within that period of time.”

Something small in 9mm would probably keep her safe.

Hmmm, do they make a 9mm whistle?

She should consider dating a biker. He'd visit him to politely discuss his behaviors.

I say stickers and signs saying not to do some things. They have proven to be effective in stopping crimes.

"Bearse is not taking any other legal recourse but wants to speak out in the hopes that things will improve in the future."
Of course she is speaking out, small time celeb has to get as much "AT" as she can. Ain't as easy to get to a major market station as she thought.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
Live in a liberal city.....live with the liberal politics. She has the chalice.
She seems smart, I'm betting she is 'prepared'.
I hope she has a gun or will buy one. I would teach how to shoot if she doesn’t know how.

Wasn't a Denver DA who told women they should pee on would-be rapists? That would be enough to protect them?

No, that was a State lawmaker Evie Hudak who was recalled over her shenanigans during the 2012 legislative session.

I don't think a gun would do her any good. She doesn't strike me as the type to kill.
I didn't watch the link or read about it. Did the guy do something that is worth killing him for?
Now pepper spray or tear gas? Hell yes, fuck him up. Kill him? That is an enormous step for anyone to take.
