+1 THIS!
We have an awful lot to complain about these days. So much that we tend to reflect on all of the blessings in our lives. I honestly try to never forget the blessings I've been given and not take them for granted.

The best of all holidays and most important tradition our family has.
Happy Thanksgiving, hope your families are well and together to celebrate.

Agreed!! My favorite holiday by far. Food, friends, family, and football! Oh yeah, and firearms!!Just came in house from back yard range session that included a 6 year old grand daughter firing her first shot with a cricket 22 and our 92 year old great granny banging steel with her (fancy gun, according to her) GP100. She went 4 for 5 at 20 yds.
We burned about 300 rds in less than an hour.
The women shot so well I think I need a testosterone treatment(and to beat my grandsons for a lack of practice).

Now that sounds like a dream day! I love seeing new shooters learning the right way to appreciate and respect a firearm.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I just got home from sharing dinner at my son’s firehouse with him and the rest of the on duty crew. Very thankful for all of our first responders.
Happy Thanksgiving, all.
I spent the day with my brothers, and their children.
Good news, there are still many things to be thankfull and gratefull for.

It's good to see you return brother. I hope this wasn't a one off and you'll return as a regular.

I see what you did there Obi Wan.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Pies! I made 19 mini pies yesterday.
My family voted to NOT have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and opted for Chicken Linguini Alfredo instead (I got a great recipe for this from my daughter that I made). While the cooking effort was far less, I sure missed the traditional dinner. I'd also been told that nobody enjoys Pecan or Pumpkin pie, so the wife bought a cheesecake. To me, it just isn't Thanksgiving without pie, so I made 19 of 3 different mini pies (Apple pie, Appalachian Chocolate Gravy pie & Sawdust pie - I'll post the recipes for the last 2).
This morning I've getting ready to head out to have breakfast with a half dozen former coworkers who say they miss me and want to get together. Hopefully we can find a table at Sandy's (folks in the Springs know Sandy's is "the breakfast place" to eat.)
I might stop by Scheels later and see if there are any deals on a few things I need to pick up.
Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone! [Beer]
I hope it was a wonderful day filled with family, friends & fun while giving thanks for things that were and things still to come.
Well, look at that... I was a poet and just didn't tell no one. [LOL]
