While I have nothing yet to contribute, I thought it'd be cool to see what Black Friday deals folks scored; post away!

What?s in the Boxxxxxx?
Was number 8 in line at Triple J Armory this morning for the Black Friday festivities. They started off by tripping the smoke screen anti theft device and the fire department showed up!
First 5 got a free Anderson Stripped Lower. First 10 got swag bags and mystery boxes.
Earned five raffle tickets for my purchase so I dropped them in the Ruger RXM and suppressor cans. Fingers crossed.
It was fun!

I've been pretty disappointed that the retailers where I shop didn't specifically tailor their BF sales for those things I want. It's not fair.
But I did pick up a Garmin Xero from Cabela's for a really good price. Wasn't really a BF deal, though.

I forgot... I also got a bundle of 2 40v 7.5ah batteries/charger for a Ryobi leaf blower. Chinesium brand that looks suspiciously identical to the Ryobi OEM Chinesium batteries at 1/3 price. So far they work fine and haven't caught anything on fire.

Only black friday deal I saw worth getting was the Icon ratchets were 40% off at harbor freight. They were very picked over when I got there but did get 2 that I needed. Everything else was not really a deal this year. I was hoping PSA was gonna do free shipping and I was gonna order a upper that I have been wanting but no free shipping this year.

In general, BFD were not as expected or as they were in past years. Each year seems to get more lame. Won't take long and retailers reliance on hype will backfire.
And black Friday sales/discounts will slowly cease to exist. Five to ten percent discounts will become the norm.

Speaking of Black Friday and Harbor Freight... I couldn't wait to get my 2, maybe even 3, tool boxes to put all of my hand tools in. What a deal!!

I haven’t bought and don’t plan to buy a single thing all thanksgiving weekend. Have pretty much convinced myself I have everything I need, and then some… if someone finds a deal too good to pass up, maybe I’ll jump on a bargain, but honestly not really looking hard anymore. [Dunno][Awesom]

I feel like Black Friday sales rushes are a thing of the past.
The ubiquity of online ordering has gutted traditional retail.
Gone are the days of camping out in front of Walmart and enjoying the mad scramble for a marked-down Chinese television that might not survive the year.
That said, I bought a pair of Asolo 520 boots for $90 off—so deals still exist, just not the old-fashioned mosh-pit variety.

Miss the Black Fridays when you could get in line at 4am and get a very nice free computer at Best Buy…after you mailed in a shitload of receipts.
Only thing I purchased was 5 Perry’s Steakhouse pork chops for friends/family. So tasty! $22 for that 3” thick slow smoked goodness. Perry’s is so satisfying plus the view of valet parking: Lamborghini, 2 new Vettes, 2 Porsches, McLaren, and a Lotus.

Picked up a set of AirPod 4 for the youngest daughter $70, picked up a keruig duo for $80 and a set of craftsman overdrive SAE 11 piece wrenches for $50 (I already had a set of metrics and they are the best open end grabbing wrenches out there for the $)
