View Full Version : Colorado Sen Winters was killed in an Accident
Crash on I-25 northbound closes multiple lanes near Denver (https://kdvr.com/news/local/crash-on-i-25-northbound-closes-multiple-lanes-near-denver/)
Not sure what to say.
She Co/Sponsored alot of the anti-gun laws here.
The left makes it a point of cheering and celebrating when a Conservative is killed. The more violent the better.
I think I'll stay with my principles and say "My thoughts and prayers go to her family."

That is because leftists are vile people that place politics above humanity.
Honestly, no different than any other road fatality. Being a politician doesnt change the statistic or make it anymore meaningful in my life. I hope the police aren't giving any special treatment because of her office.
It's important to remember that "those people" (or leftists) who cheer deaths like Kirk are their own fringe, but draw extra attention making them overrepresented. Same as anyone cheering a death on our side is our fringe and also is overrepresented.
Most people don't do that.
I actually knew her to a limited extent, while our politics don't align, she was professional and respectful, and seemed to be a decent person.
The next senator in her place will probably have even worse politics based on constituency; there is nothing to be happy about.

Whatever my disagreements with her politics, I am not going to celebrate her death. I hope her family is able to celebrate the holidays despite this personal tragedy.

After the whole Charlie Kirk incident I find it hard to show any concern for the left and their loses.
I will go on with my life.

Are they the fringe?
Lets see:
-their Theologians like Marx etc demand violence.
-their Political Leaders condone and encourage it.
-their Media endorses and glorify it.
-The "common man" protest and riot- loot and burn.
-Even you couldn't be clear and condone what happened to Mr Kirk.
So maybe I'm a little skeptical about them but they have made it clear they embrace and part of their ideology is violence.
But sure, show me (a link or something) from a Liberal of some importance that truly shows remorse for Mr Kirks murder.
Or maybe the TWO times there was an attempt on Pres Trumps life?
But yes, we will see who replaces her.

Your counterpart on the left would say approximately same things about you and point to things like January 6th as an example, and point to Dem senators that were murdered in another state (crickets), Nancy's husband nearly killed with a hammer (which many in the right celebrated), blah blah blah.
And there are a lot of liberals that made respectful comments regarding Kirk. You have a perception bias so you only notice/remember/provide weight to the trolls who made nasty ones, etc. I have a life, so no, I'm not going to make a collage of thousands of them because you'd immediately discount it regardless (dissonance is a bitch).
The facts speak for themselves, most people in the US do not condone, glorify, or praise any of this violence. If what you said was remotely true this country would be a bloodbath with hundreds of thousands to millions murdered.
I'm also not a knee-jerk fish that got hooked into believing DJT promises. I know, many MAGA had the same black/white reaction of DJT that whoever didn't kiss his boots and his butt is automatically a liberal. Funny, because DJT actual politics are far left of mine. Only one of us was right in our predictions and beliefs about him.
And yes, I never would condone what happened to Kirk in any fashion. Not sure what you are saying there. Condone = support.
