Welcome. I've been to Balad a few times, but never made it to Kirkuk. I was supposed to go there the first time in, but they switched us to Balad just before we went. Lots of good folks and info here!

Never been to Kirkuk...that's probably a good thing (for me, anyway)! I have heard the nightlife and dating scenes are awesome, though! [Coffee]

I enjoyed Kirkuk. It got a little nasty during the surge when we chased all the bad guys out of Baghdad.
