Yep, pretty decent. Some of the folks on GlockTalk have elevated him past the reverence they impart even to Gaston himself.

Not bad! Nice little home range, too.

Yep, General Glocking, 1911 Club and .40 S&W Club. Sometimes the babysitting is a PITA, but still a lot of good folks there.

I just acquired a Gen 2 G17 to go with my Gen 3 G20. I'll have to get SA Friday to point me towards the stippling resources he'd mentioned earlier. I wouldn't do it to my G20 (I used decalgrips on it) but this one's gonna get the treatment.

I have larger hands as well and for the life of me I was unable to find a good grip on the little 27. I've had a chance at two of them, one of them had stippling (was better at snagging on shirts than improving grip) and the other didn't. I tried both with flush mags and the finger extentions with no luck, my ring finger hangs off of the grip a bit and the recoil from the .40 would cause it to slip after a few rounds, with the ext. it would pinch my finger between it and the frame so I tried to grip it a little higher where the slide was able to take some skin off of my hand. My G26 with +p+ feels a lot like my old G27 so I may give the GAP floorplates a try.

I have a G27 for my CCW. I love it. I have a grip extender for it so it is much more comfortable.

Just curl the pinky under the standard floorplate and all your problems will go away. That is the way I shoot it and Hickock45 uses that grip as well.

That's the way I grip, but like I said my two fingers are too large for my ring finger to seat in the last groove.

I've been subscribing to Hickok45 for almost a year now, he's a good shot. His videos are a lot of fun, thanks for posting!

I have large hands and carry a G26 because of size and weight. I can actually conceal a G17 and did for years but it's just SO heavy hanging on your hip all day. I used to think my fingers felt 'crowded' as well because I was used to the grip on standard frame handguns and if you are used to this your hand does feel crowded. Get a +2 mag extension and it makes all the difference and once you shoot it a bit you'll find that it really doesn't affect your shot to have your grip a little more compact, especially in a self defense situation.

I have never been a HUGE fan of Glock, but I must say that I was impressed with how well I shot with one while I was in the academy. Bone stock Glock 17's with god only knows how many rounds through them, and just for fun after qualification day, the instructors let us shoot at 50-75-and 100 yards on steel silhouettes. I was impressed how with no elevation changes, the pistol was able to ring steel at all of those ranges very consistently. I have always said, most guns on the market are FAR more accurate that the users! This definitely proved it to me!

G27 has been my carry gun for years. I really should take it out to the range again, it's been much too long.
