I don't know if any of you watch this show. But this latest season is turning out to actually keep my interest. Until the showed that dumb sniper scene where he has a laser or maybe that's just a red light on the building, plus it looked like he had a can on his rifle yet it still made a "bang".

I like to watch tv shows and nit pick them if you haven't noticed already.

Well, did it make a bang or the crack of a sonic boom?

I don't know now...I just re-watched that part and there was a "silencer" sound mixed in and maybe one of the guys that was getting shot might have gotten a shot off before he died. [Bang]

I had two co-workers today who equated Jack Bauer (sp?) to Chuck Norris.

There is something very wrong with that.

I tried to watch an episode of 24 and I was like, "This is what everyone thinks is so wonderful?"

I watch on occasion and nit pick things during the show just to piss off the wife. :)

I missed this episode though, but will go back and watch as I'm sure it's on pvr still.

this season is really dark... but still the typical and predictable Jack Bauer.

I try to watch it, but keep getting nauseous from all the bullshit that they keep showing [ROFL1]

But seriously, the plots are some-what believable until they start making the government agents out as total boobs that can't shoot straight to save their asses, and of course Jack is making those absolutely amazing shots while standing on 1 leg hitting the shooter in a moving car at 65 MPH!
[ROFL2]

-Chuck Norris has to maintain a concealed weapon license in all 50 states in order to legally wear pants.

-When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Jack Bauer.

-When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.

-Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting infers the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

LOL sorry guys I couldn't resist.

[ROFL1][ROFL2] That is now my favorite!

Just finished the series on Netflix. I'm a little behind the times.

Wow. 3 years and a month later. This might be a record for resurrecting a dead thread. [LOL]

It was a good show though. I might have to dig the DVDs out and start the series over again.

I ripped through all 193 episodes in about 6 months. That Netflix streaming is great for that. I Did Walking Dead and I'm doing Breaking Bad as well.

I tried to get into 24 when it was on but never could. But watching it from the beginning I got hooked. One day after work I think I watched 5 episodes in a row. My family got so sick of that stupid, overemphasized clock sound that I had to get good with the mute button when the commercials started and again when the show resumed.

Yeah, my wife grew to loathe that sound as well. It took me about a year and a half to get through them all but I really had to get it scratched off my bucket list.

Changed the title hoping to avoid other people thinking it was back on. I had the same thought at first.

This was my favorite part of 24; http://blogs.herald.com/dave_barrys_blog/24/

The live blogs of the episodes were quite funny. The drinking game where you take a drink when "protocol" or "perimeter" was mentioned. The viewers complaining that "we're halfway into the episode and nobody has been shot in the thigh".

I loved the departure from reality when Jack gets pulled over by the cops but he calls the President and hands his cell phone to the cops...who then let him go. Jack stepping over a rifle to continue shooting bad guys at 100 yards with his 9mm...

I only caught a few episodes. I can't disconnect my brain from reality to that extent.
