"America is at that awkward stage.
It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards."

Now - THAT's the spirt!

I hereby retract my previous position that there was nowhere on the East Coast that was worth living in. Obviously Vermont is an enclave of sanity in an otherwise dismal area of the country. I'm all for it! They want to register us everywhere, it's about time we turned the tables. Make them pay for wanting someone else to save their sorry a**es every time something happens. Then those lists, as they are public record, can be released. And if the criminals now know who the easy marks are, so be it. The anti's don't mind doing that sort of thing to us, so I say turnabout is fair play. [Coffee]

While I think his heart is in the right place, what a dumb idea. Our government needs to concern itself with national defense and commerce stuff. Quit trying fix everything!

They know who DOES HAVE guns. Sort of an unregistration registration.

As much as I would like to mess with the anti-gun types I'd much prefer just ot let everybody alone

How so? What about all of the people who buy guns from private sellers and aren't required to go through the background checks like at gun shops?

Then you would have to pay the no-gun owner fee.

Ahh, didn't see the stupid little title thing on your first post. I rarely see people use those so some posts don't make sense.

When it starts doing that, we won't have discussions like this anymore, will we? They seem to like to [Poke] as they do a good impression of [Stooge]

Until then, I'll keep on [Kick1] every chance I get!

Agreed with SAnd, as much as I would like to mess with them I would rather leave them alone.

I do find it a little funny that someone decided "How about your register and pay a fine if you AREN'T a gun owner...how do you like that?"

Hey Sniper, are they still doing that bullshit where you can't have anything on your lap, or get up for the last hour of the flight?

no that lasted all of 1 or 2 days and was for international flights only from what I remember. nothing got updated for us and it kind of fell off the map. It was another knee jerk reaction to something that should have been handled before the guy stepped foot inside of the secure area.
