[ROFL1][ROFL2][ROFL3]I love this crap.... I see it all the time at the race track. I don't understand it at all. It is usually on the hondas and other foriegn crap which makes even less sense. A spoiler is used to put downward force on the rear tires for traction and stability over 90 mph... which does nothing on a front wheel drive vehicle that goes 85 tops.

Thats actually not half bad compared to some of the ricer bullshit I see around here.

From what I can tell at least he doesn't have the full body kit, huge cowl with fake ram air hood. 9" Fart cannon. Yeah you get the idea the list is endless.

There's a white Vette that drives around here, with a large red meatball on the side "5" and "SPEED RACER" in italic bold on the rear bumper. Someone was a Speed Racer fan, I guess.

You don't think fwd cars need to have traction on the rear tires? That's high schooler mentality. You seem to be a little behind the times on what import cars are and aren't capable of. Here is a video for you. Looks stupid, but breaks records.

I was thinking the same thing. even a PS2 or PS3/XBOX game where you can customize a vehicle covers those aspects.

I spent several years in Chicago, one of the least gun-friendly places in the country. As I recall, all guns have to be registered, you can't register handguns and certainly not hi-cap rifles, and there aren't even any civilian gun sales within all of Cook County (there was one place on the north side, PD only). It's a good example of a place where in general, only the criminals have guns.

Once saw an old Monte Carlo - complete with UBP camo* - roll by with a vanity plate that read:

Jerry - Now that is a responsible "pimp" job of that car. The upgrades look nice.

As for all of the dumb ass spoilers. I wonder how most of these add-ons don't bend the sheet metal of the trunk. So many of these just look damned stupid. The low-profile type of spoiler, usually found installed at the factory, aren't bad though.

HEY!! I've got a $500 beater I commute in... those of you that I've met have probably seen it- a green '99 Neon with a customized passenger door... a Doe customized it on hwy 115.. she "customized" the fender, too- but I got around to replacing that, along with the headlight and the passenger mirror- but the windshield is still cracked..

In my defense, I only spend $30 on the spoiler at a junkyard (a factory one- was even the same green color), and I quit running synthetic when it went over 170k miles (it's now at 190k and still won't quit)

I don't expect to win any races, except against Honduh Civics with bigger spoilers.. I prefer to take my scoot when the weather's nicer...

I actually really want a beater car...something that is half ways reliable and will get me back and forth from the airport and sit for the few days I am gone. I just need to look and buy one.
