Well, Im kinda annoyed now, I ordered a barrel wrench/ multi tool from del-ton and got it in last week. I had a couple stock tube nuts that needed tightening, got the first one done, then started to tighten the second one and BAM the damn thing snapped. Looks like relatively cheap pot metal.
I called them so hopefully they will call me back and get me a new one.

just kinda disappointed.

on to good news though, I got my LaRue 13.2 rail installed, gonna be a badass gun once my millett TRS gets in[Coffee]

I bet on the list of things it can do, "lasting longer than a week" isn't even listed. ;)

Yeah I guess not!

it is funny because the whole thing is probably close to 1/2in thick, yet the part for the stock nut is maybe 1/8

I'm working on them.
I kinda of don't want to post until my scope is on it! I am going to get the millett TRS, just don't know which one to get since they have a mil and moa version and then they have a version 1 and version 2... too many damn choices.
It will be mounted in a LT-104

I have the Millett DMS and they thing is bad ass, I love that scope!

just got off the phone with them, they are sending me a new one and a return shipping label...said they want the tool back since it is a quality control issue and they have never had one break before.

I have a good quality dedicated wrench for stock tube nuts also; after using a small cheap one I came to the conclusion that just getting a quality wrench once was very much preferable to damaging my guns. You're welcome to use mine also, although I'm way down at the south end of Aurora.

this one was the nice big heavy style that does it all, but unfortunately is thin in the area it snapped at...looks like cheap pot metal.

I had another wrench I got from aim surplus that just had one notch to tighten with, and that notch stripped right off making that tool worthless as well. I figured as much since it was only $2-3 bucks. but didn't expect it from this thing. maybe I am just too strong[Weight]

This one only does one thing, and it is anything but thin anywhere. I have a small combo wrench that's thin sheet metal that isn't worth a crap, and after it slipped off on stock tube nut I decided I needed a good one. I have other wrenches for barrel nuts; a couple of GI type wrenches that I had one milled out and welded the pins for use with float tubes. I try to get what I need when I run across a job that requires a special tool. (Like that tool for the pivot pin retainer pin/spring!) I have a bunch for 1911's too, for the same reasons.

I'd rather have tools that I know will work properly and last; this does wind up with a lot of stuff in my gun tool box. But I'm okay with that! More tools is a good thing. Like more guns.
