View Full Version : New breaking news. Attempt to poison troops.
The article says it's breaking news, but I guess some of you military guys might already know about this. First I've heard of it though.

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas and are in custody. The five men were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base. The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.
A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the "Fort Jackson Five" may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.
Coming as it does on the heels of November's Fort Hood jihadist massacre, this news has major implications.
First I have heard of this. Thanks for posting. What happened to all that "openness" and "communication with the people" that the Obama administration was going to have?
By the way, I tried to edit my title post, and I can't. I guess a mod does have to do it.
We are not "the people" Obama was refering to.

Yeah right. Why should jihadists die when American troops or citizens can die instead. The left has always been willing the sacrifice the good guys to the bad guys.

I'm afraid that you may be right. I also think it is time that every single muslim soldier gets lifestyle polygraphs. Sorry, but if there were a bunch of Irish American soldiers doing this, I'd be glad to clear myself.
Well, I wouldn't blame any of this on and administration. I'm not sure if anyone was exactly, but I thought I'd point it out anyway.

I will agree. It has been building for the last 15 years or so from where I sit. 9/11 complicated things a bit. Kind of hard to put into words but even after DS1 I had the honor of working with a few of the Muslim faith in the Military. After 9/11 some of the prevailing winds that I noticed seemed to be more about there faith and less about the Military.
Not sure where it came from or how.

Code Red was an unofficial, unsanctioned form of Marine Corps disciplinary action. It was punishment administered by members of a unit against one of their own, often a misfit, someone deemed to be out of step or not sufficiently squared away to meet the corps' exacting standards. In the case of the movie, the discipline proves deadly.
In short, it's non-judicial peer punishment.
Info just for Ryan: In Air Force BMT, our version of the "Code Red" was a "Pillow Party" where 2 fellow flight members stand on either side of your bunk while you ar sleeping and pull a blanket or towel down over your head - which has the effect of semi-immobilizing you. Once you have been secured, the rest of the flight comes by and beats you in the head with their pillow. While this will certainly wake you up, it doesn't really even hurt - it just causes your head to bounce up and down---- UNLESS, some yahoo decides to put something solid (like a bar of soap) into their pillow case.

I think pillow fights are a bit too easy on these bastards.
