Why can't I search for "Springfield XP"? It says XP is to small. Is there some way to do a simple search? Please help Grand Master Know it All!

Yeah, there is a 3 or 4 letter minimum in the searches. What exactly are you looking for and I'll see if I can't help you find it.

This time I was looking for a Springfield XP in the for sales thread. But it seems to be a limitation I run into often. I guess there's no way around it.

I agree the minimum letter searches are a pita ... can't search for most calibers and half the model names/numbers of various guns are too short (try searching 686 or M40)

Should be done away with since it is an optional setting (other forums running vBulletin don't have this restriction)

I'm confused. The title says "XP" but every other mention of the name (including the pictures) says XD. What's the deal?

Yeah, it's a typo. You're looking for an XD-45...not XP.

Now, they DID come out with a Springfield Vista, but that is a whole different weapon.

Do a search for "not better than a Glock". That should do it. It's the typical debate for those threads...

Ronald, the XD is a great gun by the way. I endorse it.
Personally, I'd get an XDM if you are considering the full size model.

Also, LOL @ Fryday. Too true.

YES! That is a good idea. The other day I wanted to search for a Remington model 788, all I could search for was Remington, way to many hits.
I still think that the minimum 4 letters is a PIA. Is there any reason for this?
