Yeah, "common sense gun control" isn't on his list anywhere. If they weren't so busy destroying the economy, they'd be working on it

I read this article today and thought it did a pretty good job. One of the better gun related articles I've ever read. I don't see where it is slanted.

looks reasonably reported to me. considering the papers views of gun ownership.
face it we all know the first chance he has to do some more "reasonable" laws he will try something.
our only saving grace is the current anti-gov movement there is brewing, MSM's denial of it be damned. that groundswell has both sides of the aisle's attention, for now.
2012 will be the deal breaker, not 2010.

I thought they did a good job of putting both sides comments in, keeping their opinion out of the article and let the reader decide what is best. At the beginning it did sound anti-gun but as it progressed it got much better.

I would love to see the MT and TN laws work out in federal court and tell the BATFE to shove it. they shouldn't have jurisdiction if there isn't interstate commerce. that is for the states to decide.
I do like how it is a state law that federal officers get jail time and prosecution for taking action.
I am hoping Colorado will follow along with these types of measures for states rights but wait until Ritter is gone and hope we have a better gov. to sign the thing.

I can only hope...but even MT didn't allow full auto in their state law. that is something that would need to be snuck past IMO...we don't have the kind of support to pass something like that. MT said the only reason is because then the LEO would have the upper hand with full auto...they kind of missed the point that criminals will get their hands on whatever they want and limiting the amount of fun law abiding citizens can have was the end result.

Maybe I missed something but I saw no mention of FA in that article?[Dunno]

I'm with you on this one. One can dream right.

And lobster tails, crab legs, steaks, and melted butter would rain form the heavens!

Sorry about that I must be hungry this morning.
