...from PMS? Parked Motorcycle Syndrome???
I've got a serious case. I haven't had a chance to ride much at all this winter and I'm really looking forward to even marginally good riding weather.
Anybody up for a CO-AR15 ride towards late April maybe?
I was thinking maybe a route that started on the west-Denver side, south to the Springs area, southwest towards Canon City, west towards Salida. Then the Springs guys/gals could peel off on 24 and the Denver area guys/gals could head up 285 through Buena Vista and Fairplay back towards Denver.
April 24 or 25?
or
May 1 or 2?
Ideas, suggestions?
What kind of riding? Are you a cruiser or a knee dragger?

Personally, I'll be on a Road King...so cruiser for me. But I don't care who rides what. I'd say everyone is welcome.
A couple days after I got back from Thailand in early Feb I took out my GS. It was a touch cold, but nice to be out. The next day there was 6 inches of snow on the ground.
I am going to go out for a bit today just cause I can.
yep..I'm ready.. just not too keen on the amount of sand on the roads
Going to LV, leaving on the 30th, RatRod and bike show we got entries for the Rod. gonna cruise the strip on the bikes.
Might make it back to ride.

There were a few riding-worthy days this winter...my schedule just didn't cooperate.
A couple of times I had to trailer my bike to the highway because there was too much snow/ice on my driveway.

That sounds like fun! The weather in Vegas is prolly a little better than it is here.
Mine has been parked for almost 6 months now.[Rant1]
I own a motorcycle shop, so I ride more often than I drive the cage, but the last several weeks have sucked....I'll ride pretty much anytime there's not (much) ice on the streets....my commute is 28 miles 1 way from Aurora to Golden and back, so it's an economic thing for me....

+1 the Mnts. can be bad that time of year.
My girl and I both have cruisers. I would be up for a ride. I know she would go too.
Right now I have Sundays off work.

I ride to work every time it is over 32Fat 6am and the street are free of ice.
Saves money and makes me feel good.
Hell, I was riding Thursday afternoon, in the slushy snow coming down on my commute back home, trying to look badass rather than the idiot I felt I was for not listening to the forecast...[Tooth]
I put on some new grips, braides hoses, and footpegs that I got for christmas yesterday, and then rode down to the carwash ad knocked off the dust,(was 51 deg. here) but yep I feel ya, I'm suffering

Definitely feeling withdrawal pains. I lost the last part of the season last year due to health issues but I'm raring to go - as soon as its ridable without too much risk! I do have my DRZ on the trailer in my garage and on the charger so it's ready to ride.

I'm suffering from MMS - Missing Motorcycle Syndrome. I've been eyeing that bike in the sale/trade area hard. Ever since I got rid of my ZX-9R, every spring I have the bug.
Hell I am suffering from NMS. No Motorcycle Syndrome. Had to sell it a couple years ago. miss my bike!
i need something...even a cheap one (under $1k) to get back out on.
let me know if anyone sees a nice bike for a decent deal. i have no preference on manuf.
I have PMS.... maybe if I post a picture I will feel better....

It was actually nice yesterday! I managed to get the bike out and blow the cob webs out for 2 hours. It really beats driving anything else.[Beer]

Dug the Porsche out of mothballs yesterday for her maiden flight of 2010 ... man I want winter gone!
I got started with track days last year and got so enthused I bought a race bike. I didn't count on the forces generated on the knees when you're hanging off to set up for a corner and braking down from 150 on the back straight. My favorite track, High Plains Raceway, is heavily biased to right handers, and my right knee is still not right. I'm actually considering selling the track bike and going back to street riding.
I'll probably make some adjustment to the rearsets, see if I can lower them some and get my knees to survive. If not, it's going to have to go. Might be a good way to fund another rifle...
I am ready for some warm weather either way. I need my knee draggin' fix!

mine's been parked too much this winter, too- usually due the the 1st/last mile (my dirt road in the neighborhood/driveway) was hoping I can get it out this week. road is almost dry enough...
I'd definately be up for a ride.. I can meet up around Penrose/Canon City... just schedule a stop at a landmark around there and I can meet up.. (like the new Biker stop in Penrose- look for the cheesy fake palm trees!)

I don't race on a bike, but it is time to register at the drag strip! can't wait. We start next month already. [Wow2]

Got a chance to get out and knock the cobwebs outta the Road King for about 100 miles. It was nice down the hill but just a little chilly up here.
Now I REALLY have the bug!

Yeah I miss being up in the hills but the upside to that is being able to ride a lot more than you Carl. Been out a half dozen times in the last month or so! [Neene2]

and, news to me: they're now apparently an MMJ dispensary, too..
I don't care one way or the other, but if it bugs some, may not be a good choice to meet at, there's always the Kwik stop, lots of room there.. can get various supplies, too- including fuel

Yeah, when they put up the fake palm trees, I came up with a slogan they should go with (There is room to put it on their sign)
"Plenty of class, all of it LOW"
the building itself is brand new, but ughly! not bad on the inside, but not finished completely... they have a pond out back & sand volleyball courts?
all around just an odd place...
If you wanted to make it a ride-n-shoot, we could stop by Cactus flats.. I'd suggest my place, but what looks like a motorcycle gang pulling in & shooting may actually be enough to alarm the neighbors... [Coffee]

And I haven't suffered from PMS since TFOGGER shod my bike with these:
