Taurus PT1911 in Denver

Hello all, I am new to the forum and am thinking about purchasing a Taurus PT1911 in the near future. I was wondering if there were any readers here who know of a reliable and affordable store in the Denver area that caries the Taurus 1911? Thanks for any help as it is greatly appreciated.

LOL he said "affordable" .. that isn't a word that the folks over at the Shootist understand.

Honestly, wait until the next gun show and look there. The reality is you're not likely to find a truly reasonably priced one in town. Now, finding one online and having it transferred through someone like ProTekt.. that can be very affordable.

http://www.jj-enterprises.net/ is the best guy to deal with, he has them. Jay is a very stand up guy. I would look at other 1911's though. RIA or SA would be much better options.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I will check out the places mentioned above. I mainly wanted to get a couple leads before beating the streets. The reason being is a friend of mine recently bought a Springfield XD from a well known dealer in Denver and paid way too much imo. It was the XDM mind you, but he paid about 200 bucks more than I paid for my XD9 Tactical 2 years ago. I have always found the best deals through word of mouth. Thanks again!

By the way, the Taurus PT1911 is an amazing gun!
I have owned two (traded my first one for one with the rail).
