How are the "Rockies" shows compared to "Tanner"? I have tomorrow off for the first time in 5 months and was thinking about going.

I think i saw on the sign there is one at the adams county fairgrounds.
I have been before and it was pretty small and mostly overpriced stuff as usual.

Shows are small. At one of their recent shows they had everyone "spread out" because the vendor count was so low. Clearly a crappy show, they should be ashamed to charge us to attend. I'm not impressed. Tanner is packed, lots of venders, find just about anything and well managed. Tanners price is the same.

My two cents worth.

Ah flith and flarn and another filth and flarn....It's my only day off, small show or no show? I'll think I'll bite the proverbial bullet and go small show.

There was a Gun Show this weekend at the Holiday Inn (gunshow of the rockies) but it looks like it has been cancelled.

"There WAS a gun show" or there was a gun show SCHEDULED for this weekend?????
I'd sure hate like hell to make the 400+ mile round trip to that show only to find out that it's cancelled.[Rant1]

Yeah that show was pretty lame...fortunately, they are so far out in the boondocks, they couldnt get a signal to charge my debit card, so I got in for free[ROFL2]

There's a show 27-28 Mar at the Phil Long Expo Center, Colorado Springs.

I've been twice now--it's small, but I know exactly where the table is where the guy with the primers sits, and that's all I care about--where are the primers and the powder. Primers are less than at the gun shop even with the entry fee ($8 I think), so I get in, get out.

This time though, I'm gonna wander around looking for exactly two rounds of either .458 Winchester, .416 Rigby or any big Nitro Express rounds (short of the 500), because I need them for my IDPA vest so I can complete the safari adventure look. Last choice will be a pair of .375 H&Hs.

There so far is a gun show scheduled for the 24/25 of April 2010. As of this posting anyway.... Don't forget to go to Tanners web site and print a $1.00 off cupon
Also one set for 17th of April I think In Pueblo, co.
