wow that is cheap!
im really tempted. i can get the rifle, a total of 10 mags and transfer for about $500. the only thing i would do is replace the crappy stock with a $25 bulgy stock from apex.

I wanted to bring up a couple of points
1st if you are going to order with them they have a hidden fee if you pay with a credit card, it was around 5$ on a 250$ order so pay them with a check. (I learned that lesson)
2nd Kvar has a bulgarian synthetic upper and lower handguard for 27$ that would look good on this rifle as well
3rd It has an optics mounting rail that is a big plus for me at least
4th Can I borrow 350$ [Tooth] please I want an ak74 so bad
For any rookie ak47 people these are not 7.62x 39. They are 5.45x39 a cheap and accurate round [UZI]I wish my gun cases weren't overflowing all ready.

i think they are very comparable to the recoil of a 5.56 and more accurate than a 7.62 plus good old reliability. i dont know if they are US made barrels or bulgy chrome lined. lancaster latest run of roughriders are chrome lined and wood stock. i seen them on Atlantic firearms.

with the rifle, 8 extra mags and the 3% cc fee it comes out to $443 plus transfer. it makes me want to put up one of my 7.62 AK's up for sale.

"with the rifle, 8 extra mags and the 3% cc fee it comes out to $443 plus transfer. it makes me want to put up one of my 7.62 AK's up for sale." Don't forget the $169 for 1080 rounds of ammo. [Rant1]

more like $338 for 2 tins. with a import only round like that i would like to keep at least 1 tin in reserve. and shoot up 1 tin. aimsurplus had tins for $129 +shipping last time i checked.

Yeah... that mak doesn't really do it for me either. Maybe if it was milled.
But if you have any nice bulgarian or russian stuff... then lets talk.

Every time there is a deal like this I'm broke... anyone know how long it's going to last?
Yes this $350 gun is gettin pretty pricey. $700 now. [Help]
Anyone happen to know the manufacturer on this one?

Be careful buying rounds, the older cheaper russian rounds that are surplus are highly corrosive. There are plenty of non-corrosive rounds out there but they are a little bit more in price. I have the S&W M&P15R in 5.45x39 and I love the gun, but I clean it after every shoot because of the cheap corrosive rounds I bought. Don't pay over $200 for a case of 1000 rnds or you are getting ripped off.

it should be a century. and with century, i really would like to inspect before i buy. some are decent and some are not.
I am going to get one. Will post pics when I get it (on backorder) so a couple weeks.

Check again because I just canceled an order a little while ago. When I asked who manufactured them my reply was 'we don't know. They're made for Century by someone but we don't know who.' Really? Pass. Super pass. Century alone is questionable and this only adds to the questionability of it all. If I was local and could hand inspect them, maybe but I decided just to wait because while $350 isn't a lot of money for an AK74 it is a lot of money to waste on an AK74 that is problematic or just plain doesn't work.

they pulled that one before. they use to have a Tennessee guns romy underfolder advertised. but when you call to order they say it may be a century or tgi. but the price reflected a century wasr underfolder. the tgi were going for $600 to $700
this is another option i would really prefer to get. a lancaster ak74 rough rider.

or if you are a member of theakforum you can get a TGI truck gun built on a bugy receiver and original barrel for $399 shipped.

"I don't know" is a pretty sketchy answer. Surplus ammo is so cheap for this gun /www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=A54539R&groupid=33 (http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=A54539R&groupid=33)) and I really want an ak-74.
Plus I already pulled the trigger before I posted ..., anyone have experience with Centerfire?
Picked it up today. $369.99 was my out the door price. Centerfire did not charge me pay a 3% charge (used my debit card). $20ffl (Let's Make a Deal)
Seems like a solid rifle. Everything is as promised. Builder is Nodak Spud LLC (http://www.nodakspud.com/). Will shoot it this weekend.

good deal. is the machine/rivet work good on it? are you going to replace the stock?

Yeah, machine work appears good. Rivets are tight. Probably will replace the furniture eventually.

I know this thread has been dormant for a while, but I wanted to know what any owners think of their new purchase. They still have a pretty decent deal going on centerfire. Any reliability / feeding issues?
This is one zombie I'm glad you brought back from the dead. I missed it the first time.

I have run 500 rounds of surplus through the gun with no feed or misfire issues. Very accurate low recoil rifle.
Cosmetically not the prettiest rifle I own, but I love it.

FWIW the ones I have gotten in the past two months have not been chromed lined BBLs.
