My wonderful lady turned me on to this story tonight. Basically a lady gets shot in the love handles and doctors say her extra fat saved her life. Maybe if she wasn't so fat she wouldn't have gotten hit at all. Anyway, here are a couple of articles and one of them shows her picture. She is not even CLOSE enough to be fat enough to stop a bullet. What a stupid lady.

she seems more like a parasite to me. sucking up tax dollars and handouts every place she can get them. It makes me sick the amount of money stolen from me every year in tax dollars that pays out so people can do jack shit, not work, get free health coverage and then complain about not having enough.

Ummm, I think a lot of you guys have made some pretty serious leaps of faith with trashing this lady. Sure she said dumb stuff, but that doesn't automatically make her a welfare leach or chimp. Wanna ease up?

I didn't see anything in the article that pointed to her being on welfare. I wonder if I left the picture off if the responses would have been different. Article doesn't saying anything about her suing anyone or anything. Just that she wants to be fat to stop other bullets.

I think it's the paneling on the wall behind her, or the style of her couch, or something else that I can't... quite... put... my... finger... on :rolleyes:

WOW! Now I know better not to post pics of my couch or maybe even where I reside. I can only imagine the comments. How can you tell if someone is on welfare by looking at a picture? I've heard stories of young white healthy looking males driving off in new 2010 sports cars/trucks from the welfare offices. I'm never one to play the race card but could most of these comments be because she is black?

I saw this first hand when I was in college and couldn't afford anything more than the barest of essential. Seeing this guy and his girl and the food stamps with his nice clothes and 2 yrs old TransAm is what ended up prompting me to join the military instead of becoming like him.
