Two of my new toys. AKA 300 Hush, 300 Fireball, 300x221, 300 Whisper, ect. They were built using a 300 Hush reamer from Pacific Tool and Gauge.

The bolt gun uses a Sure Fire suppressor and the AR uses a Shark Ti Suppressor. If I decide to get another can for the AR it will be a Thunderbeast Ti can.

The bolt gun is a Remington 700 action that has been blueprinted and has a Lilja 8 twist barrel. The stock is an Accuracy International 2.0 and the scope is a Schmidt and Bender 4-16x42 with Badger rings and a 30 MOA base. It also has a 223 Ackley barrel that takes all of 5 minutes to change out.

The AR has a PRI rifle length float tube with a Schmidt and Bender Short Dot in a LaRue mount. There is also a pic of it without the float tube to show the pistol length gas system.

Both sound like an air rifle.

I know, my photography skills blow.

Wow. I was gonna post pics of a couple toys, but I'm afraid they'd develop an intractable case of suppressor-envy. That's a mighty-nice pair.

Will the whisper cycle the AR? New to the land of suppressor's are okay so I don't know much about them.

Yup. On shorter barrels you setup the gas system in the pistol position and use an adjustable gas block to switch between subsonic and supersonic loads.
On longer barrels, carbine position works okay I hear. This is what Ive found in my research the last couple weeks. Im working on one right now. [Beer]

Thanks! Waiting on a stamp for my first can, and was thinking about setting up a .300 Whisper. Haven't done much research on it at all yet.

To quote an old friend of mine, "It runs like shit goes through a goose."

The gas port is in the pistol location and is pretty big. I have tried a few different powders and all of the cycle the gun and lock it open. Even with subsonic (220 Sierra Matchkings) loads. With supersonic ammo (125 Nosler ballistic tips) it also cycles 100% and isnt tearing the rims off either.

Noveske only does runs of 300 barrels every once in a while. This barrel was an experiment of theirs at 9.5 inches. Most everyone uses 10.5 and 16.25 barrels.

Just say the word and I will put a price tag on it. Building another is easy.

I will have the bolt gun there for sure. I need to get more ammo loaded up though. Hopefully Uncle Sam will give me a day off so I can make it to my own match...
