Neck bushing sizing?

I've gotten some conflicting information on how to size the bushing for a neck sizing die. The Redding website says to go 0.001" - 0.002" smaller than the diameter of a loaded round. A member here mentioned 0.004". I just bought a die used and the bushing it came with is 0.004" smaller. Should I give that a try or order a new one?

Neck tension will differ from gun to gun and if you are shooting coated bullets.

Try it and see. I run coated bullets and 3-5 is my norm.
