Ok - I used to like a few things... (and still do...)...
Spaten - Optimator
Alaskan - White
Belhaven - Scottish Ale
- but I just came across a few new ones:
Spaten - Dunkel
Belhaven - St. Andrews Ale
What do you like or suggest?

Try a great Irish Cream Ale called Wexford. I personally love it and is very close to a beer I had while in Europe called Kilkenney. They do not import Kilkenny so this is closest I can get.
It is created like Guiness, meaning no carbonation. I can drink a 4 pack with no problems and goes down like water to me. It isnt easy to find but depending on where you are, Arvada has a couple places that stock it regularly.

For now;
Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
Pilsner Urquell
Peroni
...and all the other "75 billion" crafts and home-brews out there that just kick-ass and never roll to the top of a given list.
Ask next week and my list will change again...and the week after that...:)

I'm a Newcastle guy as well
It’s actually Newcastle Brown Ale aka ‘Dog’ for those from NE England.
I was a professional beer taster for Scottish & Newcastle Breweries!
As for best beer, too many to list but if I had to go for one I’d say St. Stans Dark.

If you like Scottish Ales, one of the best ones is brewed right here in The Springs:

Bristol (http://www.bristolbrewing.com) brews a lot of nice beers.
Like their Oatmeal Stout

and on a hot summer afternoon after mowing

Honestly I have yet to get a beer from them I didn't like.
I highly recommend you head down to 1647 S. Tejon (that's just a couple blocks south of the I25 exit) and pick up a growler (or 5).
Damn ... I wish I was getting some sort of commission

Anyone ever tried a Guinness float? I'd drink it again.

Passion fruit mango ale from Pumphouse Brewery, Longmont. Sounds soooo strange and female, but is actually really good for a white man :)

Hmm ... Colorado Creamery occasionally makes Guinness ice cream ... I could see where a scoop of that (or even just vanilla) would be nice in a pint.

Anyone Tried Fuller's?
Their 1845 is pretty good, so was their london pride. A little malty, but I prefer that for certain meals.
My standard fare at the bar is a good old Fat Tire.
Back where I grew up we had a Big Dog Micro Brewery, Their Wardog IPA was the stuff... man I miss that.
