I was at Sportsman Wherehouse today (fyi they have a ton in the ammo selection today and walmart had a darn near full selesction on hand) and a guy walked buy and said "Ammo is to much here, better prices at Dicks and (heres the kicker) Gander Mountain."
I turned and said Gander is the most expensive place for ammo and we had a little friendly exchange.

He sure sounded proud at how great the ammo prices where at Gander.

On the positive side, those are people you won't have in front of you at Sportsman's when you're there........

I need some more ammo, but want to find it at a whole lot better deal than what is being offered locally.

The shelves emptied when barry got elected, and I gave up checking on them.

have the panicky douchebags finally appeased their paranoia?

Ammo can still be a little tricky to find locally. Especially handgun ammo. Getting better for sure, but still not like it was pre-Obama scare.

38 Spcl brass is like 9mm brass. You can reload it almost indefinately. You just don't stress it out very much with reasonable target reloads. If you shoot a lot of 38 spcl, reload that stuff and never worry about factory ammo again.

I check out the one by the Flatirons mall, they use to have a good price on the WWB .38 and the CCI Blazer brass. But only go when I need new undies or more tin foil
