Lurked here for a little while, and figured I ought to join. I bought my first AR two years ago (a Rock River Arms midlength from Jensen Arms), and I am hooked. When my wife and I are not chasing our kids around (8, 10, 13, & 15), I'm usually shooting or hunting. I am an avid big game and predator hunter. Shooting is definately my passion--especially handguns. My XD 9 and I are extremely fond of IDPA.

I'm new to the forum, not to Colorado. I frequent Colorado often and give the state a lot of my money, but my home has always been and hopefully will always be in Wyoming. I head down as often as I can to shoot at the Northern Co. Rod & Gun Club--great bunch of people!

BTW, thanks for all the welcome's!

Ok, I love Wy its a very nice Sate I sometimes can pull up a radio station from there and really like it,and when I hear the news updates its like good news for once. Am just grumpy because i live in the outskirts of Boulder

Once when I was a claims adjuster I had a guy in Wyoming who got hit by a Colorado driver. He went on and on about how people from Colorado were ruining his state. They go up there and drive all stupid and have no respect for anything because it is not their state. He ranted for a few minutes about how much he hated people from Colorado.

I started the recorded statement the same way with, "This is Stuart Adams our of Denver, CO speaking with Gary I-Hate-Colorado LastName. We are discussing an incident that occurred on...."

He was like, "I didn't realize you were in Colorado, I'm sorry about blah blah." I told him it wasn't a big deal and didn't give him a hard time about it. I thought it was funny.
