Okay so I found an AK now a question

Very top one i want to get the shooters set. But i dont like the poly, would rather wood....... I think. Any way can i look around and if I find a good deal on a stock, grip and handguard should i be able to switch it out? Or do i need a certain brand?

as long as you get a romanian stock set.

yugos will be different than romanian, and bulgarian I think are a little bit different as well.
so just make sure you get romanian. or you can make your own as well...that would be pretty cool!

there are lots of places that sell AK stock sets so you can find something in about any color you want, or buy it unfinished, go to wal-mart and pick the stain you want or linseed oil and make it the way you want. finish it off with a nice clear laquer and you will be set with a gorgeous stock set!

Any stock set that is made for a stamped (not milled) AK-74 or AK-47 will work. They are all interchangeable except for the Yugos (and maybe Czech).

Here's a killer deal on a Bulgarian stock set. You won't find a deal this good anywhere else.
