So, I am sitting here watching the new Sherlock Holmes movie... pretty good so far. Not done yet. Hard as hell to catch all the words without closed captioning. Love Rachel McAdams!!!! Wooff...

Don't spoil it yet for me. The ending or anything yet..... wait another 40 mins or so and I will then post I've finished. :-)

So, did you get to the scene yet where Holmes does that thing to that device. Then Watson tells him that stuff and you just know he'll really let Holmes have it this time. About that point, that one bad guy comes in and both Holmes and Watson are scrambling to stay alive just cuz of that thing.

I was really scared.




Okay, I haven't seen the movie yet either.

Not a bad period action flick but THIS AIN'T NO SHERLOCK HOLMES! [Mad] I'm sure Basil Rathbone and Jeremy Brett are spinning in their graves at the mere comparison.

I don't know guys. This is another one of those movies that I have absolutely no desire to ever see... like the Kill Bill movies, Pulp Fiction, Transformers (1 & 2), etc.

I am curious why... Transformers was really well done considering how it could have been done. I know a lot of girls that don't generally like comic book movies or action movies and they like them.....

It takes just as much CGI to make that whore Megan Fox even presentable than it does to make robots turn into trucks. If she hadn't of fucked her way into the movie business, she'd still be waiting tables at hotel restaurant.

I really liked the movie as well but I think you forgot to mention Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Although the movie tried to put in a few random things from Doyle's stories such as the conversation about the pocket watch from "The Sign of Four."

I haven't read any of the stories, but I have heard that this movie put in a lot of things that were more accurate to the stories rather than the traditional presentation of Sherlock Holmes, such as the pipe, the lack of a deerstalker, Watson not being a fat, bumbling idiot.

I watched it last night and I'd forgotten it was a Guy Ritchie film until the end credits, which is no bad thing.

Sure, if you watch it in slow motion, you MIGHT be able to catch some movement that isn't just a blur.

There were some accurate and inaccurate presentations. But for the most part, they were added for fluff. I read the series as a kid.

I am also a James Bond fan (the older ones). The last two Bond films, with Daniel Craig, weren't bad action flicks but they were not Bond films.

As for Kill Bill and the rest, I have most all of Tarantino's early works in my collection.[Muaha]

Well... as a single guy, there are not a whole lot of actresses I would kick out of bed or keep from getting in my bed regardless of CGI. :D

Maybe my standards are low, maybe they aren't.... Doesn't matter to me at this point. hehe.. Ass is ass as long as they have some minimal requirements to be attractive to me. LOL [Tooth]
