I've adopted a new defense strategy

I've decided there's enough violence in the world already without me contributing more.

That's why I've adopted a new strategy of diplomacy and non-aggression. My plan is to reduce the "stockpile" of offensive and defensive weapons I own - such as firearms - in hopes that others with more violent tendencies will follow my lead. I'll be leading by example, in other words. Violence just leads to more violence. I'm confident this strategy will work if only I give it a chance.

Despite the fact that I've owned, trained with, carried and relied on firearms to protect me and my loved ones for about 3 decades now, I'm positive that was the wrong approach. It's all very clear now.

I hope all of you will join me in casting aside these tools of death and destruction so we can lead the way to a more peaceful tomorrow and joyous coexistence with our fellow man...even the bad ones.

I have heard recent reports of several butter knife attacks across the globe where criminals are breaking into homes and using the owners own butter knife to brutally rub the home owners skin raw until they give them all their cash, jewelry and car keys.
