A part time job...I just finished up all my high school requirements [Weight] And I need to start saving for college, which takes mullah. I run a lawn service, but that seems to be slowing down due to the economy so I'm going to start applying for some part time work.
Any suggestions on who's hiring or a good place to work would be helpful. I enjoy working outside with my hands. I also enjoy ranch type work, and I can work any hours. And I'm willing to work pretty much anywhere.

Try Thornton Parks & Recreation-they usually have part time jobs this time of year.
Also go talk to the DoT, sometimes they'll do "intern" type work... better you than some illegals.
There are a ton of jobs right up your alley on USAJOBS.gov.
Getting jobs off that site is kind of a crap shoot, but it is a great place to get an idea of what is out there.

Join the Reserves or NG. Have them pay for your school. Just a suggestion.

That's what my older brother is doing, he's almost done with Air-Borne...That's still an option. I just don't care for the Commander In Chief right now...

Suck it up.[ROFL2] Sorry couldn't resist.
The .mil route is a good one right now, you will get your training paid for and get paid while doing it. you can't say that about almost every college degree out there.
what do you want to do in college? what is your plan for the future?
if you just want something small, part time, you will probably not get paid very well.
check around at golf courses for cart boys or working in the shop, also check with parks and recs as they hire seasonally and need people in the summer.
adams county parks is taking applications now.
car dealerships is another option where you can wash cars or clean up the lot etc.
wal-mart...but you have to stash away all the fed .22 LR for me and give me the discount you get[Tooth]

I'd like a 4-year Biology degree, I'd like to work for the CDOW or the Wyoming Fish and Wildlife service.
[ROFL1][ROFL1] If I work for Wal-mart, I'll be sure and hide a couple .22lr boxes for ya [Flower]

only problem is if i am correct most big companies besides a few like(sportsman's maybe bass pro, and others), but most dont give there employees discounts on ammo or guns i know dicks sporting goods doesn't for a fact![Rant2] because i work there seasonal for the past two years! wish i got deals on ammo though! i get the same deals and quantity everybody else gets only perk is i get to see it first![Twist]
try your shoot at sporting good companies if you like stocking shelves and dealing with customers and so forth!

I thought wal-mart people got a 20% discount? not sure, i haven't worked there and don't plan on it, but thought one of the employees told me that is what they get...maybe it doesn't count toward ammo though, I'm not really sure!
yea i am unsure as well with wal-mart maybe, but i know most don't due to the markup on most of the items is to small to justify the discount could be a load a crap though and they just want are money![Rant1]

Last year I got in a conversation with a Gander Mountain employee who said he still buys his ammo at Walmart if he can, because even with his 10% employee discount, it's still cheaper at Walmart
